Bwin - Euros Stunt
To build traction ahead of the big event, Euros 2024, and after a long period of silence, bwin staged a stunt featuring a Portuguese football icon and one of the biggest Gen Z influencer, targeting the core demographic.
The stunt began with a teaser on both of their social media accounts, without any mention of bwin. The star Ricardo Quaresma announced the launch of a fashion line at a secret location. On the day of the event, the fans lined up for hours to get their hands on a t-shirt. Participants had the chance to meet Ricardo and Widoh up close, only later realizing that it was all part of a brand sponsored activation.
The stunt reignited bwin’s social media presence, sparking widespread press coverage and collaborative posts and setting the stage for strong momentum going into the tournament
